How much does home visit ear wax removal cost with Wessex Ear Care?
Ear wax removal for one or both ears £70
No wax fee (covered by deposit) £20
All our ear wax removal appointments require a non-refundable £20 deposit, a no wax fee, when booking your appointment. The remaining balance of £50 will be paid at your appointment if ear wax needs to be removed.
Payment at your appointment can be made by cash or card as Nicola, at Wessex Ear Care, carries a card machine for easy card payments.
What will happen in my ear wax removal appointment?
All ear wax removal appointments with Wessex Ear Care are personalised to each patient.
At each appointment Nicola will:
Check both ears with an otoscope which will indicate whether there is ear wax present or not
Where possible or if needed, show you a before and after picture of your ear canal
Check your medical history to ensure safety to proceed with ear wax removal - please complete the medical history form when booking your appointment online
Perform ear wax removal using microsuction and/or water irrigation if needed
Give advice on ear health
Give aftercare advice and where appropriate give advice regarding onward referral to GP or ENT
What happens if I need to reschedule or cancel my home visit ear wax removal appointment?
Booked ear wax removal appointments can be rescheduled or cancelled up to 24 hours before your appointment. Appointments cancelled before 24 hours will be refunded their £20 deposit. If you wish to reschedule or cancel your appointment within 24 hours of your appointment, you may be charged in full.
All ear wax removal appointments booked online should receive a confirmation email upon booking. If you do not receive a confirmation email please get in contact with us.
